Meet the Doctor
"I've been interested in health and fitness all my life.  It was a blessing when I found chiropractic as I knew immediately that it was my calling.  I look forward to help turning on your body's own natural innate healing power." --Dr. Corey
How my service works

When you first come in to meet with me, you'll enter the examination room.  Expect to find a chiropractic table and a MyoVision scanning system.  I'll go over your health history to determine what some of the possible causes are of your symptoms.  We'll look at your posture, including feet positioning and then do a painless scan of your muscle tension.

I'll go over results with you and determine whether chiropractic treatment can help you.  If we can and you agree, we can begin treatment right away.

Depending on the severity of your subluxations (spinal misalignments), we may be able to relieve your pain with a few chiropractic adjustments or with a series of treatments.

The goal is to get you pain free, return you to proper motion and position, relieving symptoms.

I was very blessed to have been born and raised by loving and supportive parents and family here in beautiful Victoria, B.C. I grew up in scenic Cordova Bay and went to Claremont High School. I was extremely active and athletic as a child and teen playing almost every sport under the sun from soccer, volleyball, cross-country, track & field, to golf and tennis. I always had a strong interest in health and fitness.

It wasn't until my university years when I was attending the University of Victoria pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Psychology that I had my first chiropractic experience. Like many other chiropractors, I too was a chiropractic success story. During one of my heavy weight-lifting workouts trying to keep pace with my buddies I ended up getting a very painful compression fracture to one of my upper thoracic vertebra from performing heavy barbell squats. Not surprisingly, going to my medical doctor all he prescribed was heavy duty pain-killer narcotics and bed rest. Thankfully, someone recommended going to get checked out by a chiropractor. After a series of adjustments and treatments the pain went away. I was so impressed and grateful from the all-natural, drug-free, surgery-free therapy that it led me down a path to pursue what seemed to be my calling of becoming a chiropractor. Where I went on to achieve my goal in receiving my Doctorate of Chiropractic at Palmer West Chiropractic College in San Jose, California.

After finishing my four years at Palmer, I decided to come back to help serve and give back to the great town that I grew up in. Many years later and close to 10,000 patients successfully treated at Back in Line, I am still passionate about helping serve others, whether it be just to relieve their back pain or to help them on their quest for achieving optimal health and wellness!

I look forward to meeting you and I hope to be your Victoria, BC Chiropractor to help get you and your family 'back in line' and back to life!

Yours in good health,

--Dr. Corey
